NIGEL LYTHGOE APOLOGIZES!!

Nigel Lythgoe, a judge and executive producer on the popular reality competition show, So You Think You Can Dance has taken back his words today after the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation got mad over homophobic remark he made towards Misha Belfer and Mitchel Kibel, a male couple who auditioned last week to be on the show together. During the show Nigel said,

“I think you probably alienate a lot of our audience - I mean, we’ve always had the guys dance together on the show, but they’ve never really done it each other’s arms before. Do you know what? I’d like to see you both dancing with a girl.”

In an apology today Nigel says,

“I sincerely regret the fact that I have upset people with the poor word choices and comments I made.”

Yesterday was the big kick-off event for the new season of So You Think You Can Dance at The Nokia Theatre in L.A. - Past contestants: Joshua Allen, Comfort Fedoke, Mark Kanemura, Katee Shean, and Lauren Gottlieb along with judges/choreographers: Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, and Mandy Moore were in attendance.

ZackTaylor.ca got an exclusive interview with all of the people above on what each of them is up to now, and what we can look forward to this upcoming season - Plus we got some wicked dance lessons!!

Earlier today last year's American Idol winner, David Cook along with Nigel Lythgoe and Michael Johns spoke to me about who they think are goin' to win this years competition.

Nigel also spoke about the rumours going around of him replacing Simon Cowell as a judge and Michael spoke about his guest role on Miley Cyrus' TV show!!

Earlier today I had a fun little dance session with season one So You Think You Can Dance Canada contestant & 4th place runner-up, Natalli Reznik!!

She showed me some crazy dance moves, and gave me some insight for what people can do to make it through the auditions this year - Have a look, and please don't make fun of my "unique" style...

I was watching the show the other night and they look SO MUCH A-LIKE!! She is def. one of my favourites on the show, and VERY HOT to watch - Maybe even hotter than Hayden :)

SYTYCD CANADA RECAP...

Earlier tonight was the first ever episode for So You Think You Can Dance Canada where the top 20 were paired-up and had to dance in front of a live audience to gain viewer votes...

Well, I watched it all, and here's what I thought of EVERYTHING (see the full list of competitors by going here)...

Hottest Dancers: Natalli Reznik, Arassay Reyes, Romina D'Ugo

Best Dancer: Allie Bertram

Best Couple: Vincent Noiseux & Lisa Auguste

Most Annoying Dancer: Tamina Pollack-Paris

Worst Dancers: Breanne Wong & Izaak Smith (this is sad because I actually liked Breanne during the audition rounds)

Now for what I thought about the judges and host... Leah Miller looked hot, but she was SOOOO annoying to listen to and her improvisation was pathetic!! Blake McGrath was a breath of fresh air, and was totally hilarious - He is by far the best judge on the show... We'll see what tomorrow night brings on the results show, and who stays & who goes home!!

SYTYCD CANADA: GO BREANNE WONG!!

The top 20 on the first ever season of So You Think You Can Dance Canada has been revealed and I must say a bunch of my favourites (including Lara Smyth and Jesse Catibog) made it through!!

One girl, who I've been watchin' from the start & I think will make it far in the competition is Breanne Wong... She was one of my favourites ever since she showed up to her first audition in a, Brains Not Bombs t-shirt and did her AMAZING routine...

Hopefully she'll do well... Tune in Wed. night @ 8PM ET/PT to see how they all do!!

THE SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE WINNER IS...

The two-night, four-hour So You Think You Can Dance season finale started last night and concluded earlier this evening...

The finale included a reunion of some of the favourite dancers from the first four seasons and encores of some of the best routines of the current season... The Jonas Brothers as well as the cast of Criss Angel Believe also performed...

At the end of it all, it came down to 2 guys: Joshua Allen and Twitch Boss!! 3rd place finisher (who you voted THE HOTTEST) Katte Shean walked away with $50,000 for being the top girl this season, after Courtney Galiano was eliminated at the beginning of the finale!!

LADY GAGA DANCES/SINGS HER WAY OUT OF THE CLOSET!!

She kissed a girl and she REALLY liked it!! Lady Gaga, who performed on, So You Think You Can Dance last night with her hit single, Just Dance has come out of the closet as bisexual!! She's so much cooler than fake bisexual Tila Tequila!!

In a new interview she said,

Are you really as boy-crazy as your lyrics suggest?
Yeah. Well, I’m girl-crazy too. I really depends on where I am. I love men, I love women and I love sex, but I’m actually pretty introverted right now because I’m so enveloped in my work, and it’s hard to let anybody near that. People fuck with your energy, and it’s very hard to find people that are supportive of your art and don’t want to take time away from it. A lot of times, boyfriends and girlfriends get jealous and want all your attention, and I really don’t have time for that.

Do you consider yourself bisexual?
Sure. I mean, I don’t really consider sexual orientation in general. It’s like, people are born the way they are.

Katee and Joshua from the new season of So You Think You Can Dance picked the "Bollywood" theme out of the hat and danced it last night... They did an amazing job and it looked like a lot of fun!!
