Looks like they recast American rock musician Lita Ford in an upcoming film about her band, because according to Scout Taylor-Compton's official MySpace she is now playin' the role (actress Alessandra Torresani was suppose to play it),

"hey guys! I have some pretty exciting news! I have recently been filming my ass off on my newest project "The Runaways"!! So far the process has been amazing, I am so lucky and honored to be able to portray the guitar icon Lita Ford! I will keep everyone up to date with news, etc.! scout<3"

JULIANNE HOUGH & CHACE CRAWFORD ARE SET TO GET FOOTLOOSE!!

Pro dancer/country singer, Julianne Hough has now landed the lead female role in Paramount's remake of Footloose alongside Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford!!

Filming is set to begin in March with plans for a "more mature version" than the original - Kenny Ortega, director of all three High School Musical films will direct the remake!!

ZOOLANDER IS COMING BACK!!

Ben Stiller confirmed today that he is working on a sequel to Zoolander!!

He says that it would be set 10 years later with Derek Zoolander dealing with the fact that he is no longer a model, possibly spending his days running a modeling school and taking care of his now 10 or 11 years old son. He also says that he would never make the sequel without Owen Wilson reprising his role as Hansel.

I really, really really, hope they make this movie!!

CHACE CRAWFORD IS FOOTLOOSE!!

Chace Crawford will play the lead role of Ren McCormack in Footloose!!

Crawford was offered the lead role of Ren, played in the 1984 original by Kevin Bacon, after Zac Efron dropped out of the project in March... I think it'll be funny to see him dance!!

According to reports, Marvel's Kevin Feigy and director Kenneth Branagh have chosen their lead actor to play Thor... James Preston Rogers Chris Hemsworth!!

Chris, who plays George Kirk in the new Star Trek movie seems to be the next big thing in Hollywood - The role was rumoured to go to Canadian actor James Preston Rogers (shown in a photo with me above), but it seems Chris is a big name that will help sell the movie.

Rumours are going around that Drew Barrymore and her former E.T. director, Steven Spielberg are in discussions to bring the classic blockbuster back to Earth with a sequel!!

In 1982, a six-year-old Drew played Gertie, a little girl who joins the rest of her family in befriending an alien visitor from space - According reports, Drew and Steven have met to discuss the project, which will feature E.T. returning to Earth to rejoin the now-adult Gertie in E.T. 2.

I really hope this rumour isn't true!!

SOME EXCLUSIVE CLUELESS SEQUEL DETAILS!!

A couple days ago it was reported that a Clueless sequel was being talked about when actress Alicia Silverstone and director, Amy Heckerling apparently had been spotted discussing a script for the film.

Well, ZackTaylor.ca did some digging and not only did we hear that a sequel IS being talked about, but they are starting to list some potential actors/actresses to star in the film; Canadian actress, Kate Todd (who just moved to L.A. from Toronto) is being spoken about for one of the new leads alongside Alicia!!

Whatever the case, I don't really think the sequel would do as well as the first film, but it seems Alicia has been lovin' the media attention recently as she was all smiles last night at the 2009 Heart of Green Awards in New York City :)
